What is a good recipe for homeade macaroni and cheese?

I've never made it before, but I want to try.What is a good recipe for homeade macaroni and cheese?
OMG i have the best recipe for homemade macaroni and cheese.


First you cook the macaroni but not all the way just part cuase the sauce will cook the rest.anyways make a roux equal parts flour and butter about a tbsp each cook for a min add about 2 cups of whipping cream and stir in slowly it will thinken as it comes to a boil.simmer add about 2cups of grated cheddar but used aged more flavour.add some pepper and a touch of hot suce to bring out the cheese flavour even more.add it to the macaroni and the secret is add croutons about i cup and spry your casserole with pam and add the macaroni and top with more cheese not too much though and place tin foil over top and bake at 350 for 35 or so minutes depending on how your oven gets take of foil and let it cook for 10 minutes more to get the cheese to really bubble this is really good classic in my family.enjoyWhat is a good recipe for homeade macaroni and cheese?
use a mix of pepper jack and sharp cheddar cheese.





heat up a can of evaporated milk in a sauce pan over medium heat. have a paste of flour, salt, pepper, and water stirred well and handy. add your grated cheese to the milk. Stir contantly till the cheese is melted. Gradually add the paste (you might not use all of it), and give it time to heat up and thicken.





pour this over your noodles and stir it all up.





toppe with seasoned bread crumbs.
Patti Labelle has a great recipe, we've made it before and it was good, but I forgot the website, but you can search her name lol.
throw a few slices of american cheese on your cooked and drained pasta with a little milk and stir...Its easy and its good

1/4 cup milk 1/4 cup margarine Cheese Mix applied to boiled %26amp; drained macaroni. Be sure and mix it well!
Find a basic mac %26amp; cheese recipe. Throw in a can of cream of mushroom soup and you have Supreme Mac and Cheese.
Use velveeta cheese with the macaroni! It'll melt in the microwave. Add just a little milk and butter until it's smooth and creamy %26amp; then pour over the macaroni - stir gently and there ya go!
Velveeta cheese. Drain your macaroni and put the Velveeta in the bottom of the pan and cover with the hot macaroni. Wait a couple of minutes and stir gently. Yummy! Use about 1/2 cup of Velveeta for every 2 cups of hot macaroni.

You dont have to use the cheese he suggests. You can also do mixtures of your faves.
Homemade is not what I usually make any more.





But this is what to use:





Elbow Macaroni-amount depends on how much you wish to fix


Boil it with a little butter and drain





Spray the bottom of a casserole dish with butter spray or rub with butter.


Pour in the cooked noodles.


Pour in milk, cheese -American, sharp, Colby--Mix a couple different cheeses for a nice flavor.


Stir in a little butter, depends on the amount of noodles.


Bake until cheese is melted and gooey. Add some pepper and salt.


Put crushed Ritz crackers on top and place back in oven.


Broil for a minute or so and take out of oven to cool a bit.


Then enjoy.
I think I'll stick with the stuff out of the box. Or the Velveeta stuff. That's the sh it! YUM!

add 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese, add 1/8 cup water, mix till a bit thick,


add your cooked macaroni as directed by the package.


salt and pepper to taste.

macaroni is only a pasta and cheese sauce. Best is just to buy it ready made and spend time spice it up a little to your own liking


Try adding some cooked ham or bacon and sprinkle with extra cheese like the hard italian stuff that has strong flavour and add a light coating of some herbs before you serve it like dill. The dark green herbs look great


It looks good to sprinkle the herbs around the edge of the dish or a line across the dish if you are serving as a simple but tasty side dish for friends
well my moms was always the best


she would boil some elbow macaroni


then drain it


cut some chedder cheese up


put it in the pot with the drained macaroni


and put some milk in with that..


melt it all together


mmm mmm good!
Heavy cream and the cheese(s) of your choice. Use a double boiler to keep from scorching the cream. Heat until cheese is melted. Salt an pepper to taste. Add cooked macaroni to mix and enjoy!!

the best way to make homemade macaroni and cheese is putting milk and butter to make it really cheesy. it is so good! trust me it tastes delicious!
