1 (8 ounce) package macaroni


4 tablespoons butter


4 tablespoons flour


1 cup milk


1 cup cream


1/2 teaspoon salt


fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Cheese Macaroni








Ingredients:





600 ml Milk


25 gm Flour


25 gm Butter


1 tsp Mustard powder


300 gm short Macaroni


Salt and ground Black Pepper


50 gm grated Parmesan cheese


100 gm grated Cheddar cheese


50 gm grated Mozzarella cheese








Method:


Cook the macaroni in a large saucepan of lightly salted water according to the packet instructions. Drain thoroughly.


Melt the butter in a pan, stir in the flour and mustard powder and cook, stirring for 30 seconds.


Gradually whisk in the milk, bring to the boil and then simmer for a few minutes to make a smooth sauce.


Stir in 75 gm (rest for topping)of the cheddar, and all of the mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese until melted.

nuddles are kind of hard to find. I have a great recipe, but its not simple and not cheap but its emerils recipe and oh man is it good. I make it on christmas

Ingredients


2 tbsp butter


2 tbsp wheat flour


1 and a half cups of warm milk


1 cup elbow macaroni


1/4 - 1/2 cup grated cheese


Oregano and Chili flakes/Paprika for flavour


Salt and pepper seasoning





Method:


Boil the macaroni in a heavy bottomed pan with a dash of olive oil and a little salt. When cooked, drain and set aside.





Meanwhile, in a large sauce pan, fry the wheat flour in the butter on a slow flame.


Use a whisk to avoid lumps, while slowly adding milk to the roux


When you get the desired sauce thickness, bring to a boil once and remove the pan from the flame.


Mix in the grated cheese, oregano, chili flakes, salt and pepper.


Toss in the boiled macaroni and serve hot.





You can garnish with more cheese, bread crumbs, green pepper (capsicum) and tomato rings and microwave for 30 seconds till the cheese melts.

I don't cook by measuring ... so I'm gonna share this best I can. Take a package of pasta shells (large is better, but small works too). Take some velveeta (I use about 1/2 of the large block ... sometimes the whole thing). Add a T. of butter, about a 1/4 cup of milk and a few shakes of garlic salt. Melt slowly. Pour over the cooked noodles. I cook chicken breasts and cut into pieces and add it -- makes it a great meal! Have FUN! ;)
Cook Macaroni as normal, set aside. In a frying pan, add bacon, onion, and red capsicum or bell pepper, saute until soft, then add diced celery and diced carrots, cook on low heat for a further 5Min's. Make quantity of cheese sauce.( eg Melt butter approx 25-30gms, add plain flour and whisk together, pour in (using microwave) 1.5 cups of warmed milk and continue mixing over heat until it thickens, add 1 cup off Kraft cheese and mix again. Place all the ingredients into a casserole/oven proof dish, mix well. On top decorate with slices of tomato and cover with bread crumbs. Re-heat when ready in oven approx 180 degrees, serve with crusty bread.

Boil your noodles and place them in the crock pot with 4 cups of shredded cheese. I have found that two of the cups should be mozzeralla, but the other two can be whatever kind you want. Add two tbs of butter. You can add a little garlic or a little salt and pepper or even hot sauce if you want to liven it up a bit. Pour a pint of heavy cream over until it starts to seep up over the noodles. Stir and bake for 4 -6 hours.
all i do is boil some elbow noodles and add velveeta :)
