Does anybody know a good homemade macaroni and cheese recipe? ?

i really appreciate answers ;]Does anybody know a good homemade macaroni and cheese recipe? ?
Make some elbow pasta ( about 2 cups uncooked) Drain. do not rinse. Set aside.

Then melt about 3-4 tablespoons of butter in saucepan, add 3-4 tablespoons of flour, and approx. 1 tsp. of salt and some pepper. heat those till boiling and smooth. Add about 2 cups milk-slowly. heat until boiling about 1-2 minutes. Make sure you stir constantly so that it does not scorch. Remove from heat, mix in your favorite shredded cheese into the milk mixture. WHen it's completly melted, pour over your elbow mac. You can bake it from there for about 30-40 minutes on 350. It should be bubbly and browning on top.Does anybody know a good homemade macaroni and cheese recipe? ?
I recently made macaroni and cheese for a large group and they loved it sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. This is what I did:

Boil noodles to al dente (undercook) -- I used penne, you can use macaroni or whatever else you like best. Drain well.

Bring 3 cups heavy cream to hot in a medium - large sauce pan and add in 1 pat of butter, 1 tsp. garlic powder, 1 clove garlic - chopped, salt and pepper.

Gradually add in chunks of CREAM CHEESE, 1 whole package and stir until incorporated on medium heat.

Reduce heat to low and gradually add in grated VELVEETA, about 1/2 package, whisking.

Then, I whisked in some shredded cheddar.

If the sauce is thick, add some milk or more heavy cream, and whisk until incorporated. Sauce should be SOUPY.

Pour over noodles and stir. Bake in the oven on 350 for about 30 mins or leave in the crock pot on high for about 45 mins to an hour.
This is a recipe that is made in the crock pot and it comes out sooo creamy.

8 oz elbow mac cooked

3-4 cups of any cheese(I use a combo of sharp and mild cheddar cheese, montery jack, and velveeta)

13oz. can evaporated milk

1 1/2 cups of milk

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

chopped onion to taste.

Combine all ingredients and a greased slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low 2-3 hours
I buy pasta from the store, any kind that you like, and then I go to Big Y and buy this package that has a mix of cheeses. You melt that and boil the pasta, then combine them. If you like you can add herbs, I prefer it unbaked, but for this recipe you can throw it in the oven with crumbs on top.

Hope you like it!
