Cook one bag of macaroni noodles. Drain


1 stick butter + several teaspoons to make the thickining sauce


Add two cups of milk (more or less according to desire)


Cut and add one block of cheese (stir during the process)


Put noodles in baking dish


Pour cheese over noodles and mix


Bake covered for 45 minutes. If you want some crispies, take cover off for the last 15 minutes.





Optional: 1/2 stick of butter with crushes saltine crackers in a sauce pan. Place over macaroni during the last 15 minutes. (Note: My wife and I like it this way, but the girls don't)





We will be doing this receipe in about 36 hours...

BAKED VELVEETA MACARONI AND CHEESE


WITH BROCCOLI





1 1/2 lbs. elbow macaroni (optional)


3/4 stick butter (butter)


1 1/4 c. milk


1 lg. block Velveeta


1 pkg. broccoli in cheese sauce


1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli





Cook macaroni. Cook broccoli with cheese sauce and plain broccoli. Cut Velveeta in cubes. Mix all ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Take out and stir then bake for another 20 minutes. You can also add bread crumbs on the top for last 20 minutes. Sauce thickens as it cools.











VELVEETA CHEESE BAKED MACARONI





8 x 8 inch Pyrex dish - greased with butter.





Cut Velveeta cheese in slices, cut in half corner to corner. Put a 1/2 slice at each corner of baking dish point down. Put a whole slice in middle of bottom of dish. Repeat 1/2 slices points toward piece in center and around sides of dish (points up).





Add 1/2 of your cooked macaroni. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese Repeat layer of Velveeta cheese.





Add remaining macaroni, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Repeat layer of Velveeta. Dot with butter. Pour over 1 cup of milk. Bake at 325 degrees for 1/2 hour in oven.
Deluxe Macaroni and Cheese








2 cups small curd cottage cheese


1 cup sour cream


1 egg, lightly beaten


3/4 teaspoon salt


garlic, salt and pepper --


2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded


1 (7 ounce) package elbow macaroni, cooked and drained


paprika (optional)


buttered bread crumbs











In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, salt, garlic salt and pepper.


Add cheddar cheese; mix well.


Add macaroni and stir until coated.


Transfer to a greased 2 1/2 quart baking dish.


Top with bread crumbs.


Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until heated through.


Sprinkle with paprika if desired.
